The Archway Construction System is the holder of Agrément Certification.

Agrément South Africa is an internationally recognized, independent assessment centre for the certification of innovative, non-standardised construction products and systems.

Agrément certification has one of the highest standards for non-standardised construction products and systems and is recognised in 21 countries worldwide.

Agrément Certification meets the requirements of:

  • South African Department of Housing.
  • South African Department of Public Works.
  • South African Bureau of Standards (SABS).

The Archway Construction System has been fully tested and accredited by the South African Bureau of Standards and has been found compliant.

  • Fire Resistance Test - 2 Hour 20 minutes
  • Heat Transfer/Thermal Conductivity Test
  • Assessment of Building System
    • Structural (Hard Body)
    • Structural (Soft Body Impact Test)

    • Horizontal Load Resistance-Vertical Spanning Test

The Solid Wall System

Archway is a construction company that uses an alternate solid wall system as a building method. This alternate building system is known as the Archway Construction System.

Archway was founded in 2008 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The mandate of this company was to develop a viable solid wall alternate building system to meet the demand and need for housing and other accommodations throughout Africa. Archway fulfilled the mandate and has designed, developed and perfected a fully mobile, eco/user friendly and superior solid wall alternate building system with many desirable features.
